How do I sign up?

Complete the necessary information in the Contact page and Kellie will get to you with more details within 1-3 business days.

Are services provided just in-season or year round?

Kellie will work with athletes year round in all sports. The off-season is actually the best time to hone in on mental skills rather than trying to squeeze in more training between games and practices in-season.

What is sports psychology?

Division 47 of the American Psychological Association explains sports psychology as the "use of psychological skills for optimal performance of athletes, in the well-being of athletes, in the systemic issues associated with sports settings and organizations, and in developmental and social aspects of sports participation".

How is this different from clinical therapy?

Clinicians and counselors earn different certifications and work to treat those with mental illnesses within the general population. A sport psychology consultant, on the other hand, utilizes multidisciplinary principles of psychology, health, and exercise/sport science to enhance performance and mental skills specifically in athletes.

Who are sessions for?

Everyone has something to learn about their role in performance improvement. Consultations can be one-on-one, with family, just parents, for whole teams, or for coaches and trainers.

What is the typical plan or time commitment?

There is not one. Each program is individualized and paced at the availability and needs of the athlete. Sessions can be done in person or virtually as well.
